Charter Oak Community Church is a part of the Evangelical Free Church network of churches, located in Battle Ground, WA., striving to live out the Biblical command to love God, love others and to build community. This means worshiping and following Jesus Christ not only through our words, but also through the lives we lead.
Church can be an intimidating place to visit - especially if you don't know what to expect. We invite you to experience what the gospel means both intellectually and relationally at our Sunday worship service. You can engage with others as much as you want, or remain anonymous if you prefer. We hope that through visiting with us, you will experience the hope, love and joy that comes from a community of people who love Jesus.

WHAT TO EXPECT
For those who are not able to join us for an in-person gathering, Our worship service will be available to stream live at 10:00 am on Sunday mornings. It will also be available on demand after the service is complete.
On Sunday mornings we gather together at 10:00. These services are for the whole family. At this time, we will not have a children’s ministry program. However, our nursery is available for children 0-3 years of age.
In order for us to safely gather and in compliance with Washington State guidelines, there are a number of things you will need to know and be prepared for this Sunday:
- Symptom Monitoring: Staff, volunteers, and attendees are to self-screen for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 before arriving at church. These include a cough, temperature above 100.4°F, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing or at least two of these symptoms: chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, and new loss of taste or smell. Please remain home if you, or anyone in your household, presents any of these symptoms.
- Face Coverings: Staff, volunteers, and attendees are to wear face coverings at our gatherings. We will have disposable face coverings available for anyone who does not have one. There are some exceptions to this, such as children four-years-old and younger as well as those who have been advised by a medical professional not to wear a face covering because of health issues.
- Physical Distancing: Staff, volunteers, and attendees are to practice physical distancing (at least 6’) at our worship gatherings. Our ushers will dismiss each row starting at the back at the end of the service.
- Sanitization: Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the building, as well as soap and running water in the bathrooms.
We are excited to be able to gather again, even knowing that things will be very different. If you have any questions, please let us know by email at email@example.com. We look forward to worshiping together with you this Sunday!
